Ellerman House Update

I recently had an opportunity to revisit one of my favourite properties in Cape Town – Ellerman House.

Perched on a cliff-edge, with commanding views of the Atlantic Ocean, this gorgeous, boutique style property is ideal for the well-travelled and discerning traveller. It is small enough to feel exclusive, yet the terraced gardens and public areas, offer a wonderful sense of opulence. Apart from the beautiful rooms, they have a 3 bedroom villa that really does offer “everything” and now are currently completing a second 5-bedroomed villa, due for completion from 1 December 2013.

Above all else, what continues to impresses me is the extensive art collection dotted throughout the property. They also have a private gallery showcasing original artworks from paintings to sculptures.

We have been advised that that they have simplified their room categories. They now have six categories:

Classic House Room – Room 6 (Classic room)
Superior House Room – Room 3 (Ocean view room)
Deluxe Spa Rooms – Spa Deck & Spa Pool (Ocean view with deck)
Deluxe House Rooms – Room 1, 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 (Ocean view with terrace)
Ellerman House Suites – Suites 7 & 11 (Ocean view with terrace, lounge & dining area)
Ellerman House Villa – 3 bedroom & 5 bedroom option
